Stichting Camerata Utricia creates productions with baroque music, aiming to inspire both audience and collaborators to come in creative dialogue with the music of the past.

A Summer’s Tale

A collaboration of dance, song and orchestral music- the stories of Don Quixote and the shepherd Aminta and nymph Fillide come alive through the music of Telemann and Handel, choreography and virtuosic singing.

Harmonia Parnassia

Carolus Hacquart is an important but seldom celebrated baroque composer. He spent many of his active years in The Hague, and his collection of sonatas for string ensemble ‘Harmonia Parnassia’ are a representation of this productive and inspired era. A booklet with research by Maria Zwartbol and paintings from the collection of Rijksmuseum accompanies the music and guides the audience into the music of the dutch golden age.

Stabat Mater

The beloved masterpiece of Pergolesi is performed with an attention to dramatic effect and heartfelt expressivity. Combined with lesser known solo and chamber music of the composer, the concert invites audiences to come closer to Pergolesi and his music.

In Furore

A fiery collection of concerti and a vocal cantata- the debut program of Camerata Utricia is a invitation to meet its members and a statement to the passionate energy that can be present in baroque music.
