We were honoured to take part in the Jubileumconcert of Cantatekoor Wageningen for their 60 years of existence, in Grote kerk in Wageningen, under the direction of Rob Meijer.

van Monteverdi tot Bach

Kamerkoor Canteklaer olv Jurriaan Poesse presented an impressive journey from early to later baroque choir works. It was a joy to explore the beautiful music with them, culminating in a beautiful and powerful concert.

Spiritual Concert

In collaboration with Katholieke Studenten Utrecht, we presented ‘Stabat Mater’ by Pergolesi alongside his ‘Sinfonia for cello’ at Majellakerk in Utrecht. Before the concert there was a speech that explored the themes of ‘Stabat Mater’ and gave prompt to thought and recollection during the concert.

Garden Concert

The concert was an opportunity for the neighbourhood to come together and was organised in collaboration with Portaal and De Tussenvoorziening. We were happy to play baroque music in a friendly and open environment reaching a broad audience. There are beautiful stories from the event. One member of the audience said she was at first reluctant to come to the concert because she felt like baroque music wasn’t relevant to her, that it was music only for the rich and wealthy. However, she told us that she was happy she finally did come, and had an experience she did not expect and will cherish.
